Two days back, my grandfather came home after visiting a relative. And he was crying. I have never seen that before. Apparently his niece/my mom's cousin passed away after the terminal stage of cancer. From what I gathered, the cancer cells spread everywhere, and onto the backbone. At that point, it was impossible to operate and surgically remove the cancer cells. Only a miracle could happen. Well, it did, more or less. My mom's cousin was suffering very badly. So in a way, her passing meant an end to her suffering and it is a miracle of sorts, I guess. It's assuring to know she's with Jesus now.
